OUR PASSION AND VISION

Ellevator was born from the passion and vision of founder Ayesha J. Whyte and advisor Lauren Maillian. Ayesha, a seasoned Chief People Officer and employment attorney with leadership experience at iconic brands like The Walt Disney Company, WeWork, and Amtrak, deeply understands what it takes to rise to senior executive roles in corporate spaces. Lauren, a trailblazing serial entrepreneur, has been instrumental in building over 40 startups, contributing to a portfolio with a combined market capitalization exceeding $5 billion.

Ellevator is the first and only organization dedicated to providing curated educational content tailored specifically for Black women, empowering them to achieve their career aspirations. We bring members together in a vibrant network spanning roles, functions, and industries, offering access to executive coaching, career mapping, funding resources, personal branding guidance, and exclusive job opportunities. Members also benefit from in-person events with accomplished founders and C-suite leaders, creating opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
